With summer comes lots of kids, adults, pets and wildlife on our streets. Here are some tips to keep you and your neighbors safe!
Help keep your neighbors and neighborhood safe!!
The PR HOA would like to welcome Travis Sayler as our new President of theHomeowners Association. Travis has been a resident of Persimmon Ridge for the past 3years. Travis is a licensed civil engineer & a proud graduate of the University ofLouisville Speed School. He is married to his loving wife of almost 10 years, Ashley Sayler, & they have 4 littles at home - Colin (age 5), twins girls London & Phoenix (age3), and baby Pierce Joseph (age 1). Travis is a member of the PR golf club & his family loves being a part of the PR neighborhood for the last 3 years.
Please help us welcome Travis to this very important role in our community!
Thank you to Kris Hayden and Tonya Gulledge for stepping up to assist on the board! Kris has a wealth of knowledge about the community, and we are excited to have his insight on the board. Tonya's quick planning of Thunder over PR this year was fantastic, and we really appreciated what she was able to accomplish in a short amount of time. We are so happy that she has agreed to take on the Special Events Coordinator position to help with events throughout the year, including Thunder over PR!
An exit button has been installed for the pool and playground. Please do not prop open the gate to either. We ask that everyone scan their key fob when entering either area to help us track usage. The button for the pool exit is on the pool house building wall on the right when exiting the pool area. The playground button is on the fence to the left when exiting the playground area.
If you have any questions, please reach out to the PR Board atPRHOADirectors@gmail.com or contact Cornerstone atmelinda@contactcornerstone.com.
As part of the new key fob system we have offered all residents the opportunity to purchase a second key fob. If you requested one you should have received an invoice from Cornerstone at the end of June, we ask that you log in and pay the invoice by July31st so that Cornerstone can mail you your second key fob.
In order to keep our accounting and tracking systems current any outstanding key fob requests that haven’t been paid for after July 31st will be removed from resident's accounts. If you still wish to request a second key fob in the future you can reach out and a new invoice will be posted to your account.
Please contact Cornerstone with any questions about the second key fob option and any billing questions at melinda@contactcornerstone.com.
The PR Pool Venmo account is being deactivated. Please do NOT use Venmo to pay for anything related to the pool. Any guest fees will need to be paid in person at the pool using Square.
Dog Waste Cleanup
This is a friendly reminder to please pick up after your dogs. There have been complaints of dog poop being left behind throughout the community, including in your neighbors' yards and in the cul-de-sac islands.
Speeding on Arthur Hills Way
This is a repeat from last month, but please remember to SLOW DOWN on Arthur Hills if you are heading to the pool, tennis courts or playground this summer. There have been concerns raised around speeding on Arthur Hills Way.
Shelby Energy Work upgrading electrical infrastructure. Work beginning July 14th
Reminder Shelby Energy is upgrading electrical infrastructure, specifically related to the replacement of direct-buried 3-phase power lines that were installed when the development began in 1988. Their work began July 14th.
They have advised the community that there will be some service interruptions during this time (both planned and unplanned) that will affect the entire community and not just the sections under construction.
Please make sure your phone # is updated so you can be notified by Shelby Energy(call/text). They have committed to notifying all affected residents ahead of any planned service interruptions by contacting them via the phone numbers on record. This can be done one of two ways.
A letter from Shelby Energy was included in the June newsletter and also sent out byCornerstone.
The PR Board conducts bi-monthly meetings. The next meeting is scheduled forTuesday, November 12 at 6:00pm. There is always an opportunity for residents to attend the open session at the beginning of the meeting to discuss whatever topic anyone wants to bring to the board's attention. In order to get on the agenda for the next meeting, please contact Cornerstone at melinda@contactcornerstone.com.
Please make sure if you are planning any change to the exterior of your home to fill out the Architectural Review Form that can be found on Cornerstone’s website (examples include a fence, playground set, fire pit, deck, dumpster etc). This includes if you will have a dumpster on site for any project for any amount of time.
Once Melinda receives your application, the process usually only takes a few days to complete. She works closely with all applicants to ensure the Architectural ReviewCommittee (ARC) has what they need to evaluate your project for a successful result. Click here to access the form on Cornerstone's website.
